Château Canon is a beautiful property that sits just outside the walls of the town of Saint-Émilion. The Château has 13 hectares of it's total of 21 inside a Clos (walled) vineyard. Fantastically perfumed and elegant wines due to the fragrant blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc being the Château's style. 2008 was a kind year to those in Saint-Émilion with welcome long sun drenched days assisting ripening quite perfectly. This year's release will not only be nice and approachable during it's youth, but the structure will hold up for decades.
