The fruit of this insanely aggressive red is grown in 80-year-old vineyards in Lodi, grown on organic farms, and the entire bunch is macerated with carbon dioxide for ten days in steel. After natural fermentation with yeasts in steel and concrete, the wine is transferred to old wooden barrels for six months’ aging. This bottle is food-friendly and fruit-oriented, perfect for an introduction to Mission grapes. 380 boxes were produced.
