Established in 1638, Kopke is the oldest and most respected wine brands in the world. This 1978 Vintage Colheita is one such outstanding example, having now aged to perfection for forty years. Lauded by international critics when released from the cellars in 2016, there would be few wine styles from anywhere more suitable to celebrate a milestone 40th Birthday or anniversary - or equally, could be kept confidently to celebrate a 50th. Decant carefully through a muslin cloth or fine strainer to avoid the natural crust (sediment). Enjoy with medium-strength hard cheeses. Serve at 12-14c
