Sourced from the exceptional Brokenback Vineyard in the heart of Pokolbin that was planted back inthe 1970s by a syndicate led by the icon that was Len Evans. The 2010 Reserve Semillon shows all the typical Hunter Valley characters of lemon/lime zest blended with racy acidity, yet with an uncomplicated complexity that is a true delight.

Critical Acclaim

Bright, light yellow colour with green tints. The aroma is slightly resiny from some early development. It's also crisp, clean and bright, with lemony nuances and traces of green herb, bracken and Sunlight soap. It's very delicate in the mouth, dry and restrained, low in alcohol, with firmness and a little austerity. It's a little forward but still has promise for the future.
