Critical Acclaim

Medium to full red colour with a tinge of purple. The bouquet is shy, subdued and earth-bound, with dried herb and dry, mellow, wood-aged characteristics. It's a little taut and sinewy, more about structure than lush fruit. Some dry oak and pepper nuances becoming more pronounced as it aired.
