Strong purple-crimson; you have to wonder how much colour would be obtained in a good vintage; perhaps â€˜12 will tell; the palate is crammed full of exotic plum and dark cherry fruit along with a dash of spice; the tannins are fine and ripe, adding just the right amount of savoury interest to draw out the finish.
