After a minimum of 25 years in barrel, vintages are selected for release only when they have attained classic hallmarks of aged P.X. Black mahogany colour, the nose is sweetly radiant, saturated with all kinds of evocative smoke, raisin, and savoury aromas; tobacco, liquorice and even rosemary. The palate is full of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, smoke, rum, fruitcake, Turkish coffee and fresh acidity that hems in the wines shape and freshness.

Critical Acclaim

Deep brown colour and very viscous in the glass, with a very clean and seriously concentrated, rich chocolate bouquet. There are raisin and spice aromas too, the palate tremendously rich, soft and unctuous. A gorgeous, decadent sweet fortified wine of tremendous length.
