First produced in 1963, the Vat 1 is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks before it quietly spends a few years ‘resting’ in bottles. It is a classic Hunter Valley semillon showing a tightly structured palate with considerable length and breadth of citrus fruit flavours.
