Critical Acclaim

Deep red with a purple rim. Excellent colour, and a clean, fresh, bright aroma of borderline porty dark cherry, plum and chaffy notes. The palate is slightly vegetal again with a stalky compost-like vegetal character. There's a slight sour edge to it that lingers on the aftertaste. Smacks of underripe/overripe fruit. The flavour is ample and savoury with a drying finish.
